Give and Restore Hope Charity is based in Canada. We collect books suitable for children from nursery through high school and send them to schools in need across the Philippines. Since beginning this work in 2012, we have thrived on the generosity of friends, relatives, and community members. Through word of mouth and community drop-off boxes, we have collected and shipped an estimated 8,000 books — from children’s storybooks and encyclopedias to novels for secondary school students.

To make this possible, we rely on donations to cover the cost of packaging and shipping, which typically ranges from $100 to $130 per box. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we have successfully sent around 50 boxes since we began, reaching schools in provincial areas that would otherwise have little access to these resources.
